Bobrovsky made 24 saves as reigning champion Florida beat the New York Rangers, Lundqvist’s club for most of his career, 3-1 at Madison Square Garden.
Bobrovskij reached his 400 wins in 707 games while Lundqvist needed 727 games to do so.
The 36-year-old Russian goalkeeper enjoys being able to play at the highest level and knows how to appreciate it.
– The moments when you put on the equipment and go out and play in the NHL are special. Not many people get to be with them. I appreciate it and value it. I’m still developing, and still enjoy the game like a little kid, says Bobrovsky to the NHL.
In total, 14 goaltenders have reached 400 wins in the NHL.
