Ice hockey: Olofsson scored two goals as the new club turned to victory

Modo-raised Olofsson spent his first six years in the NHL in upstate New York, specifically in Buffalo. This summer, the moving team went to Las Vegas for games in the Golden Knights. And it has started well, because in tonight’s meeting with Colorado, the Swede contributed to the highest degree when the home team won by a whopping 8-4.

Olofsson’s first goal made it 1-1 and came just half a minute after the visitors had taken the lead. From a tight angle, a nicely placed wrist shot from the left.

The next goal, the 5-3 goal, was almost identical but came from the other side.

Finn Mikko Rantanen scored a hat trick for Colorado but that performance proved to be in vain.
