Ice hockey: Elias Lindholm ready for Boston Bruins – signs huge contract

Lindholm, who among other things has a World Cup gold medal with Three Crowns from 2017 on his merit list, has played a total of 818 NHL games and 557 points, 218 goals and 339 assists.

Boston will be his fourth club address in the world’s best league after previously playing for Carolina, Calgary and most recently a short stay in Vancouver where he was traded in the middle of last season.

Since before, there is already a Lindholm in Boston, the back star Hampus with the same last name. They are, at the moment, the team’s only Swedes since goalkeeper Linus Ullmark was traded to Ottawa.

Elias Lindholm’s best NHL season was 2021/2022 when he was recorded for 42 goals and a total of 82 points for Calgary. In the season that just ended, he scored 15 goals and a total of 44 points, as well as a nice playoff with ten points in 13 games.

Several Swedes change NHL clubs

Another Swede who is changing NHL clubs is Viktor Arvidsson, who has been presented to Stanley Cup finalist Edmonton. He thus leaves the Los Angeles Kings.

Freshman Stanley Cup champion Kevin Stenlund is leaving Florida and has been presented by the new NHL team Utah Hockey Club.
