The playoffs:
Teams 1-10 in HockeyAllsvenskan’s final table plays playoffs. Teams 1–6 are directly qualified for the quarterfinals, and teams 7-10 play eighth finals.
The eighth finals are decided in the best of three matches and start on Monday. The highest ranked teams in the table have home plan advantage.
Prior to the quarterfinals, the series winner Djurgården may choose resistance from the four lowest ranked teams (AIK and Kalmar and the winners in the eighth finals). Then Karlskoga chooses resistance, and so on. The quarterfinals are decided in the best of seven matches, and the highest ranked teams in the table have home plan advantage.
Prior to the semi -finals, the highest ranked team chooses opponents from the two lowest ranked laws, based on the basic series. The semi -finals are also decided in the best of seven matches, and the highest ranked team has home plan advantage.
The final is also the best of seven matches where the highest -ranked team has home plan advantage. The winner plays SHL season 2025–26.
Relocation qualification:
Teams 13 and 14 are set against each other in the relegation qualification in the best of seven matches. The highest ranked team in the final table has a home plan advantage. The winner plays in HockeyAllsvenskan 2025–26 and the loser is moved down to Division 1.
