24-year-old Albin Grewe is not known as a major goal scorer, he only scored four goals in 45 matches in the basic series.
But ahead of tonight’s fourth final there had already been three playoffs – tonight there were two new ones.
Goal with backhand
First, with just under one and a half minutes left of the first period, he shot a shot from Blå that looked behind Victor Brattström in the AIK goal, for 2-0 to Djurgården.
And already two minutes into the second period, his second goal for the evening came, when he pulled in from the edge and shot a backhand that Brattström a little easily let go. Brattström was then replaced.
– It feels good! I feel in good shape, it’s just fun, Grewe tells TV4.
Celebrated by kissing the club brand
After the goal, he celebrated by kissing the club brand on his sweater, in front of the AIK heels that became furious, after which several things were thrown into the ice.
– Albin Grewe is at the center of events. He usually is, but then it usually is through physical play, he usually comes behind the skin on the opponents – but now he makes two goals and is really a contributing factor to Djurgården leading, says SVT Sports expert Jonas Andersson.
Djurgården finally won the match by 5-0, and leads the match series by 3-1. Djurgården thus only needs to win another match to take the step up to SHL.
