ICC Netanyahus arrest warrant may be lifted if Israel opens

According to the International Criminal Court, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can appeal against the arrest warrant. He is suspected of war crimes in the Gaza war.

The International Criminal Court ICC may withdraw its arrest warrant for the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of Defense of Yoav Gallantif Israel starts a credible investigation into the matter.

This was reported by the ICC spokesperson Fadi El Abdallah for the Israeli radio channel Kan, says the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

Abdallah also said the suspects have the right to appeal the arrest warrants. Israel has already said it intends to do so.

The ICC suspects Netanyahu and Gallant of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza war.

The ICC has also issued an arrest warrant for the leader of the terrorist organization Hamas From Mohammed al-Masri. Israel has said it killed al-Masri in July.
