According to a survey by the Matpriskollen, food prices have remained stagnant during the month of March, a statement that causes many to exhale.

“Friday gift” every week to Ica customers
Every Friday, Ica Supermarket Karlsborg gives out the “Friday gift” to someone who shops. This Friday, a regular received a large package of Lindt sweets.
On its Facebook page, the store writes the following:
“Once again we wanted to surprise one of our regulars with a little Friday gift” and continues:
“Who knows, next time it might be you”
The Friday gift is a new invention from the store.
– So far, we have only had time to do it twice, says the shop assistant Linnaeus for News24.
The first Friday gift was a daffodil that was handed out to a happy customer in the store.

Why did you start the Friday gift?
– Simply because we wanted to. We thought it was a fun idea.
And what do the customers think?
– They are very happy.
How do you decide who gets the Friday gift?
– We decide on a time and then we randomly bring out someone at the checkout.
Can only regulars get the Friday gift?
– Yes, they are the ones we want to draw attention to and who tend to be here and shop often, Linnéa tells Nyheter24.
