Ibrahimovic on the future: “Details coming out soon”

Ibrahimovic on the future Details coming out soon

Zlatan Ibrahimovic got 20 minutes in the last match of the season. The Swede was substituted in the second half against Sassuolo and was then hailed by the supporters with cheers and tutors.

After the 3-0 victory, the whole team cheered together on the field at Mapei Stadium in Sassuolo. Zlatan Ibrahimovic also took the opportunity to spin the match ball during a gold celebration he described as “very emotional.”

The title, as was Milan’s first since 2011, secured after a victory against Sassuolo (3-0). Zlatan Ibrahimovic said that it is a completely different Milan now compared to what won the league then.

– This win is different. It’s a completely different team. No one expected us to win. Last time I won with big champions who had won everything. For maybe 95 percent of this team, it is the first time they win something, says Zlatan Ibrahimovic in an interview with TV4.

– The last time Milan won, I was also there. Eleven years later, I get to participate and win again. When I arrived two and a half years ago, I said I would take Milan back to the top and win the Scudetto. Many laughed then, but it is a different tone today, the Swede continues.

The soon-to-be 41-year-old striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s birthday in October, also took up his tough time with recurring injury problems this season.

With the Italian the club team, he has this year and last year missed a total of 46 matches due to knee injuries, muscle problems and covid-19.

– It has been a difficult year. So to be able to end it like this could not be better, says Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Contracts expire this summer and whether the Swede will continue to play football remains to be seen.
