Pierre Arditi is starring in “Murders in Colmar” this Thursday, November 28. At the end of 2023, however, the actor had raised concerns about his state of health after feeling unwell on stage.

Pierre Arditi had given his fans some serious scares at the end of 2023. In September and December of last year, the actor felt unwell on stage, forcing the interruption of performances. It was, according to him, “overwork” and fatigue, and no health concerns were revealed to the public. After several weeks of rest, the actor is back on his feet, and his admirers can also find him on television in Murders in Colmarthis Thursday, November 28 on France 3.

Since then, Pierre Arditi seems to have regained his strength. To our colleagues from Ouest-France, the actor who will celebrate his 80th birthday on December 1st assured in October that he “is not doing badly, but as General de Gaulle said, I will not fail to die one day! ” On the other hand, the actor still has several projects and does not intend to retire from acting immediately.

Pierre Arditi will indeed soon be on tour in France and Belgium for which he will perform, from January 2025, a new play. “I will have all the time to retire,” he says. “Being an actor is a lifestyle choice and a reward. We don’t want it to stop.” He explains that his “breathing” is theater. “Life is what drives me. It’s a precious object, a gift that someone lends you. But it’s not a bank. If you save it, you don’t earn interest in the end. So, I ‘stuff my face’ with life.”
