First of all, I regret that Arlanda has problems with staffing in the security check at Terminal 5. Certainly a lag from the pandemic, as well as poor planning and recruitment. What do I know? But the long queues that arise from this create uncertainty before a trip.
Next week my wife will fly to Paris, and the whole family will travel to Athens at the end of July. It would be nice for us to know when we have to be at Arlanda.
Swedavia’s app works overall good. But it’s a shame it does not show queue times longer than 45 minutes. If the waiting time exceeds it, the service is closed in the app. If it’s 10-15 minutes does not matter much to us ordinary travelers, then most of us have time for our flights. But whether it is two or three hours is good to know in advance.
Swedavia should develop the app so that it also shows longer queue times, it would be very much appreciated by us who travel. Do not leave us in uncertainty.
