An essential American author of detective novels, Harlan Coben has signed an agreement with Netflix for the adaptation of several works, including “I Miss You”.
Fans of the American writer Harlan Coben have a new series to get your teeth into with I miss youadapted from his novel of the same name published in 2015. A crime thriller available on the Netflix platform since January 1, 2025.
With one of the creators of the series in the script Double trap, already adapted by Harlan Coben, the authors have once again used a novel by the master of detective literature to adapt it. Five episodes around Captain Kat Donovan who, by reconnecting with her fiancé who disappeared years ago, discovers some unpleasant past secrets.
To play in this thriller, the production chose Rosalind Eleazar (Slow Horses), Richard Armitage (The Hobbit, Mi-5), Ashley Walters, actor but also rapper seen in the series Top Boyor even Jessica Plummer, also a singer and seen in EastEnders.
What is the plot of the series I miss you ?
Josh, the fiancé of investigator Kat Donovan, disappeared 11 years ago without a trace and emptying the wardrobe. But one day, she comes across her face while scrolling through profiles on a dating app. The reappearance of the love of her life plunges her into the mystery of her father’s murder and long-buried secrets.
