I just watched my life pass before my eyes

Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny has come a long way. The film was officially announced in 2016. It followed several start date shifts and a change of direction. Lucasfilm wanted to make sure everything was perfect for the Indy return. Last night the time had finally come and the sequel celebrated its premiere.

It was a special evening, especially for the main actor Harrison Ford. While thunderous applause was to be expected at the premiere, festival director Thierry Fremaux surprised the actor with a prestigious award: the Palm of honor for his life’s work. Ford was visibly touched by the unexpected gesture.
