The World Cup season is finished and there were very different seasons for our two main distance skiers in the Swedish national team. Frida Karlsson makes one of his very best efforts at the World Cup and comes third in the overall standings.
Ebba’s disappointment
The big moment for Karlsson during the winter was of course the superior victory in the five-mile in the classic Holmenkollen. But for Ebba Andersson the season became extremely tough due to a covid disease that was very late.

Andersson won two World Cup races early in the season but first had the Tour de Ski destroyed and canceled prematurely. After that, she never reached first place again for the rest of the season and the disappointment has been clear for Ebba.

– I only know that you train a lot and I train quite a lot myself, says Ebba.
