Savo Volley won the third final in men’s volleyball. VaLePa’s management in the Finnish Volleyball Championship final series shrank to 2–1.

Experienced Antti Siltala rested on Wednesday and gathered energy to be in good spirits on Thursday. He scored 14 points when Savo Volley narrowed down the victories in the Volleyball Championship League final to 1–2 after claiming a 3–0 (28–26.25–20.25–22) win from Sastamala in VaLePa’s home hall in front of almost 1,200 spectators.

– The finals ignited today. It would have been difficult to return to Kuopio in 0–3. Old war horses were dug up today, they know how to play, said Savo Volley’s coach Timo Tolvanen.

The second war horse, which also fluttered on Wednesday, was Olli-Pekka Ojansivu. After the spring finals, he will end his career like Siltala. The ditch side is unable to hit the ball properly due to a shoulder injury.

– With strong medication, I got myself fit. I’m not in the best mood, but I can do something. Positive energy will be brought to the field with Siltala, Ojansivu said.

Ojansivu scored six points, they came with ten passes, which means that the success rate of the attacks was a hard 60 for the chipper.

– It is not your own points that are counted here, but the team’s victories, Ojansivu summed up.

Siltala already scored seven points in the opening round and finished the round with an ace. He also finished the second set by hitting the wilderness ball into the field.

– The place of the forced victory was today and it was also obtained. It brought the necessary lathing to the game, Siltala emphasized.

The midfielders petrased
