It was 1996 that Charlotte Perrellias it was then called Nilssonmet the restaurateur Nicola Perrelli at Millie Bar in Stockholm. They became a couple, and in 2003 the wedding took place in the Oscar Church in Östermalm.

The wedding meant a minor war in the Ingrosso family. Something that was based on Charlotte and Emilio Ingrossos then wife Pernilla wahlgren became such good friends. The friendship between the girls caught the eye of several in the family when Pernilla and Emilio then separated.

The wedding between Charlotte and Nicola was boycotted by Nicola’s mother Melina and father Carmine. Also Nicola’s brothers Vito, Luciano and Emilio Ingrosso nobbed the wedding.

Carmine and Melina also didn’t like Charlotte hiding out in the Café magazine, something like The evening paper then reported on.

In 2003, Charlotte and Nicola’s first son was born Angelo. In the same year, Nicola chose to cut with a large part of her family.

The pressured atmosphere in the family continued when Emilio Ingrosso was reported to the police in 2005 after threatening to kill Pernilla Wahlgren, Charlotte and Nicola Perrelli.
Nicola Perrelli wants Charlotte Perrelli to remove his surname
In 2006, Charlotte and Nicola’s second son was born Alessio. Two years later, Charlotte and Nicola chose to go their separate ways, and the divorce went through in 2010. Since breaking up with Nicola, Charlotte has remarried her husband Anders Jensen46, but what she has the children Adrian Perrelli-Jensen and Alvin Perrelli-Jensen.

The fact that Charlotte Perrelli has chosen to keep Nicola’s last name after the divorce is something that Nicola does not take kindly to. On Instagram, a follower pointed out that Charlotte still bears his last name, and then Nicola responded with a clear mark.
“YES. My surname PERRELLI comes from my mother’s maiden name from SOUTHERN ITALY – TARANTO. I was born Ingrosso/Perrelli. So why does she keep my surname when she is remarried and has 2 new children with her new husband. Their 2 children are also named PERRELLI . After me! On social media both THEIR children are named PERRELLI after me and not after their father’s last name?”, he writes on Instagram.
Nicola Perrelli responded to a follower who pointed out that Charlotte Perrelli has chosen to keep Nicola’s surname.
In a later reply, Nicola writes further about the name dispute: “I don’t understand it either and I don’t think anyone else does either. SICK”.

This is not the first time Nicola has expressed a desire for Charlotte to drop the Perrelli name.
– You don’t have to honor me by keeping my name. Just remove it, period, Nicola said to Aftonbladet in 2012.
Many years ago, Charlotte Perrelli herself commented on the name dispute on Instagram, something like Swedish Lady wrote about.
“I will continue to be called Perrelli as my surname as my children are called that and I want to have the same surname as them. I will add Jensen as a middle name but privately. As an artist I will keep my stage name Charlotte Perrelli”.
