But now the Swede is approaching a comeback.
In a clip on Tik Tok, “Ibra” now shows off his progress.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is supposed to be back on the football field after the World Cup in Qatar ends. The Swede helped take his AC Milan to their 19th league title in the Italian league in the spring of 2022 but was then forced to undergo knee surgery.
“No big ego”
The Italian league restarts on January 4, 2023, but Ibrahimovic’s aim is above all to be fit for the round of 16 of the Champions League when Milan face Tottenham. A meeting that takes place on February 14 and March 8, respectively.

Ibrahimovic has been widely praised since his return to Italy and Milan, mainly for his major role as a mentor in the team.

But Ibrahimovic can soon be back as a mentor and leader on the pitch as well. In a clip that the 41-year-old published on Tik Tok, he now shows off his physical progress – and it seems that the recently operated knee is doing quite well.
