The world’s longest, 632-meter-long glass bridge was opened to the public in Son Lassa on Saturday.
The novelty of the White Dragon Bridge reached the Guinness Book of Records. The dragon took the title of the world’s longest glass bridge from China, with the longest glass bridge in Guangdong measuring 526 meters.
The bridge connects two mountain slopes. The distance to the bottom of the valley is 150 meters. The audience arrived on the opening day. The weakest nerves had to take that support from the bridge rails.
– I’m on the glass bridge for the first time. This is scary. I sweat even though I don’t even dare look down. However, I try to win myself, encouraged the Vietnamese Quang Thi Hahn.
Up to 450 people
The transparent glass of the bridge deck makes the suspension bridge a sample of engineering skills.
Representative of the Guinness World Record Company Glen Pollard described the bridge as amazing.
– This is sure to attract a lot of tourists. Planning has been required to build a bridge to the rocky slope. At the same time, however, the connection to nature, greenery and rocks has been maintained, Pollard said.
Some of the visitors had dressed in national costumes to celebrate the opening of the White Dragon.
