Genshin Impact introduced a really cool character in update 3.5 with Dehya. Nevertheless, MeinMMO editor Marie Friske only wishes that the version finally ends.
Version 3.5 has been running in Genshin Impact since March 1, 2023 and brings players the much-anticipated Flame Mane Dehya.
But while I enjoy what’s in the new update, I have my reasons for wishing for a quick end.
Dehya is one of the coolest characters in Genshin Impact, even if she has weaknesses
Dehya is a mercenary that we meet in the course of the Sumeru Archon quest. It quickly turns out that behind the tough facade is a soft person with a huge heart.

Dehya keeps helping others at her own expense: once, for example, she secretly sold her sword to support her client’s project with an “anonymous donation”.
And yes, I’m well aware that their kit isn’t the very best and players are quite disappointed in their capabilities. But since I choose my characters based on sympathy, the skillset is secondary for me personally.
While I think Dehya is so cool, I won’t draw on her, nor the other great characters in the version: Cyno, Kamisato Ayaka, and Shenhe.
In Genshin Impact, characters are obtained by “dragging” onto certain banners in the gacha system. With event banners like Dehya’s, you have a certain chance of getting the character using Interwoven Fates. These special banners exist for a certain period of time, with changing characters.
To be honest, version 3.5 can’t go by fast enough for me. Not because I don’t like the current update with its banners – quite the opposite. It’s simply because I’m so excited for the characters in the next version that they can’t get into the game fast enough for me.
I want Baizhu – Now!
The next version will probably have two absolute fan favorites as playable characters in Genshin Impact: we’re talking about Baizhu and Kaveh.

Personally, I am particularly looking forward to the green-haired pharmacist from Liuye. It goes so far that I have already created my own savings plan for Baizhu due to leaks.
Why I’m the biggest nerd under the sun in Genshin Impact right now
The mysterious man with the talking snake caught my eye from the start and has been at the top of my must-have-at-any-price list ever since.
But it doesn’t stop with Baizhu alone. As a great extra, Kaveh will soon come with a stylish case. He is an architect in Sumeru and also the roommate of Alhaitham. The two keep fighting like an old married couple – I love it.
It’s not at all unlikely that I might be able to welcome Dehya to my team in the future. Because it is already safe: according to the current version, it will be added to the standard banner.
Until then, however, it is important to be patient and count the days until Baizhu finally gets his big appearance in Genshin Impact.
