On Friday, the British press focused on the full-length Harry and Meghan documentary that had just been released on Netflix. The British Royal Court, on the other hand, has been very quiet.
Prince Harry’s and his spouse, Meghan’s and in the center of the latest uproar in the British press are accusations from both sides.
The press accuses the couple of lying and the late queen Elizabeth’s from destroying, even destroying, heritage.
Prince Harry accuses the media of exploitation and bribery. He has also openly blamed the press for the death of his mother, Princess **Diana**. His wife Meghan claims that no matter what he tried, the media still tried to find ways to destroy him.
The first three parts of the documentary series about the couple were released on Netflix yesterday. It includes e.g. interviews of the couple and their friends, private photographs and a video diary, says the British broadcasting company BBC (you will switch to another service).
The documentary discusses, among other things, the couple’s first meeting and their problematic relationship with the press.
– My job is to keep my family safe. But because I was born for this job and the amount of anger especially in the last three years towards my wife and my child makes me really worried about the safety of my family, Harry says in the documentary, according to the BBC.
“Fantasies and Lies”

The right-wing Daily Mail and the centre-right Daily Telegraph accuse the couple of destroying the Queen’s legacy. The Times ripped off the topic, calling it a Sussex soap opera.
The Daily Mail (you are switching to another service) tore up no less than four pages of text on the subject, in which the magazine described the couple’s coming out as fantasies and lies. The magazine’s commentator asked Netflix to stop airing the series because he could no longer stand “this self-centered nonsense.”
The centre-left Daily Mirror, which has been less critical of the couple, reported the incident on its front page in the same vein under the headline “Stop this royal circus.”
“Just a couple of months after the death of the queens and Prince Harry is complaining about his treatment again,” the magazine writes. “At the same time, ordinary Britons are forced to choose between eating or keeping their homes warm.”
Conservative MP Bob Seely already announced his intention to support a bill that would strip the couple of their royal titles, Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
According to Seely, Prince Harry has made money by complaining and attacked one of Britain’s most important institutions.
More royal revelations are promised to come. Buckingham Palace has not commented on the issues at all.
Harry and Meghan are the producers of the series themselves. The producer of the program or film is usually not only responsible for the content, but also has a relatively large influence on it or decides on it as a whole due to his senior position.
They stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to California, USA.
