According to all signs, The Boys Season 3 is supposed to be a unique blend of slaughter and orgy. Ackles then called series creator Eric Kripke and said something like:
As a father of three, as a son and husband, and a human being with confidence I can’t do that. I didn’t know I even had such limits, but you found them.
Neither wanted to reveal which scene it was about. According to Kripke, what sounds like a scream for The Boys fans wasn’t exactly funny. According to the interview, he doubted whether he should have the scene filmed at all. But finally “we found a compromise that I was happy with and [Jensen Ackles] didn’t have to destroy his soul.”
