Our international book immerses us in the story of friendship between Maurine Bajac, a French journalist, and Khatera Amine, an activist for Afghan women’s rights. Hunted since the return of the Taliban to power, Khatera has been forced into hiding. From the first days of the fall of Kabul, she contacted the French journalist, to transmit the voice of women so that their messages were disseminated. Through voice notes they sent, we discover what binds the two young women, separated by 6,000 km.
