“I actually just want to gamble”

The German YouTuber Maximilian “HandOfBlood” Knabe is one of the most famous figures in the German field. Now he wants to limit his activity on the video platform YouTube. Instead, he goes to Twitch and says: He will be seen there almost every day, with significantly more content.

This is what HandOfBlood says now:

  • In a new video on YouTube, HandOfBlood explains succinctly: “Stop it!”
  • He now wants to produce few videos; it’s no longer fun for him, it’s a burden on him and it’s not that worthwhile.
  • Just like his colleague Kalle, with whom HandOfBlood has been working for ages, the YouTuber is now moving to Twitch. He can be seen there from January 17th: 4 days a week, 8 hours a day and more often if he feels like it.

This is what happens to the videos: From now on, HandOfBlood’s channels will not necessarily be fewer, but will be fueled differently. The YouTuber explains that excerpts from the stream can now be seen on the second channel HandOfUncut.

The videos there should be more up-to-date. HandOfBlood also promises higher quality because there is simply more choice of content from which you can cut the videos.

The main channel “HandOfBlood” should be fueled once a month with the formats “3 shabby games” or “Männo”. Otherwise, there should only be videos that fit the stream thematically – such as commented gameplay for a run through Dark Souls.

The actually little-known third channel “HandOfTrash” will also be regularly supplied with daily reactions. The YouTuber might want to explain more about this later in a stream.

HandOfBlood, or Hänno, was best known for his elaborate productions:

Lord of the Rings: Gollum was poorly received – HandOfBlood plays it anyway, tries really hard, even plays in cosplay

“In a nutshell: I’m becoming a daily streamer”

HandOfBlood is actually known for extremely elaborate productions. He often takes on roles and costumes that are made specifically for such videos. One of the highlights is a self-built tank in which he plays World of Tanks.

The YouTuber’s now most famous role is “President Boy”, in which HandOfBlood even shows decent acting performance. As president, he primarily drives his LoL team Eintracht Spandau forward.

HandOfBlood explains in the video that there is now a lack of passion for such videos – an essential part of creative work. He would rather just play games, bring live gags that feel more natural and “go wild.”

The videos had been at a point for a while where there was hardly any room for change and self-realization. Only optimization was possible.

It is also important to bring Eintracht Spandau further forward. The team has been a focus point for HandOfBlood for some time and is now more than just a LoL team with a unique approach. Only shortly before the Twitch announcement did the team announce that they now wanted to do real sport with the support of a German soccer star.
