Hyundai Ioniq 6, which started pre-sales in South Korea, surpassed the Ioniq 5 with the demand it saw in a short time.
Ioniq 6, which was introduced last June as the second member of the electric car product range created by Hyundai under the Ioniq sub-brand, managed to attract great attention in a short time. The numerical data of the model, which differs from all its competitors in the market especially with its design dynamics, also supports this interest. Hyundai Ioniq 6, which is one of the most aerodynamic cars that can be purchased today with a friction coefficient of 0.21 cd, can offer a range of up to 610 kilometers with its high-capacity battery pack. Following the visual and on-paper details, the South Korea-based model, which has recently started pre-order purchases, received record demand in 24 hours, according to the shared information. The Ioniq 6, which was announced to have received 37,446 orders on its first day, surpassed the Ioniq 5, which received 23,760 orders in the same period. Kia EV6, another ambitious electric vehicle of the group, also reached 21,000 units on the first day of order in South Korea.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 technical specifications
When we look at the Ioniq 6 product range on a numerical basis, we see that it is divided into two in basic lines. The combination of an entry-level battery with a capacity of 53 kWh and a single electric motor positioned on the rear axle awaits users. In these dynamics, the version that will have 218 PS power will have range values in the range of 450-480 kilometers. It is also worth noting that the package, which is expected to achieve 14 kWh consumption per 100 kilometers, will be one of the most efficient electrics in the market. At the top of the family, a much higher capacity battery of 77.4 kWh and a dual electric motor combination comes into play. Supporting the high capacity of the battery with a friction coefficient of 0.21 cd, a range of 610 kilometers seems possible in the car.

The cockpit of the car is based on a template that can be talked about as much as the outside. The driver and multimedia screens are designed as a composite in a single frame, and an area of 12-12, 24 inches in total awaits users in the panel. In addition, the line of the console, which is emphasized in the “S” form, as one goes towards the passenger compartment, is among the design interpretations that go beyond the traditions. Hyundai’s front also supports the principle of sustainability with the materials used in the cabin of the Ioniq 6. The combination of materials obtained from the recycling of used pet bottles, vegan leather and fishing nets is used in this model for the first time in the Ioniq brand.
