The fact that the device is such a multi-functionality turns into a great advantage, especially if you always carry consoles such as Switch with you and use it intensively. The possibility of using it on all devices with a headset naturally brought great comfort.

Of course, there is a receiver that facilitates this use and allows you to get better performance. This receiver not only allows you to easily switch between devices by plugging in, but also provides you with a much better performance thanks to the 2.4 Ghz connection. If you have a Type C port on your computer, you can plug and use this receiver directly. At the same time, for users who use their computers on the ground, there is also a long cable that you can use as a charging cable and an apartment where you can attach the receiver. So you can put it on your desk and get a better performance.

Of course, it is possible to connect the headset to your devices with the normal Bluetooth 5.2 connection. But keep in mind that this 2.4Ghz receiver both minimizes latency and promises better performance. So if you are going to use it, it definitely makes more sense to use it with this receiver. On the other hand, depending on the Bluetooth receiver on your computer or other devices, you may encounter minor delays, albeit rare. Do not forget that the box contains different size caps for eartips.

I’ve been using the Cloud Mix Buds model for over a month. First of all, in terms of design, HyperX has done a good job as always. Moreover, a plastic case is considered for the charging box of the headset. This case not only does not spoil the stylish design, but also acts as a protective case against falls and impacts.

As I said, it is not very accurate to compare this headset with over-ear gaming headsets, so when we evaluate it according to its own classification, I can say that I find both the sound and microphone quality quite adequate. Touch control is also included in the headset as a classic. One-tap pause and music resume function, while two taps skips to the next song or three taps rewinds. It is possible to mute the headphones when you hold them down. Moreover, there is a separate function for each earphone. At this point, there is no function such as swiping volume up. At the same time, it is an important shortcoming that you cannot adjust this touch operation according to your preference.

You can control the headphones with the HyperX Ngenuity application on the PC side. Like all other hardware of the company, it is possible to access the settings and driver updates of this accessory through this application. But HyperX needs to go a little further with this software.

I have to say that they are one click behind in PC software, especially compared to their competitors. I witnessed this application hang and freeze several times while updating the software during the test.

The headphones of the Cloud Mix Buds model have 12 mm dynamic drivers. It features passive noise cancellation with rubber caps. It has a satisfying sound quality when playing games, business meetings or listening to songs. such that if you can’t use it on the ear for a long time like me, you see an incredible benefit, especially in daily use. Especially in this respect, as I mentioned at the beginning, it was a product that I used with pleasure.

Especially using it for a long time without the problem of battery takes away that question mark in your mind. Before testing, we thought that I might have problems especially after 3-4 hours of gaming session, but it didn’t happen at all. You can use the headset for up to 10 hours. This time exceeds 30 hours with the charging case. I’ve never had a battery problem while using it. I charge it once in a while, and there were times when I forgot. But it will be enough to charge it every two or three days while you sleep at night. It fills up to full capacity in about 1.5 hours.

As a result, the HyperX Cloud Mix Buds model has been a product that successfully fills the gap at this point for gamers like me who cannot use on-ear for a long time. The number of such products is not very large, so if you have a similar need and budget, I can say that it is one of the models you should take a look at.
