Province of Utrecht – The Royal Dutch Hunters Association wants to initiate proceedings on the merits and summary proceedings against the Dutch State now that the hunting season for rabbits and hare may not be opened. Minister Christianne van der Wal made that decision after research by Wageningen University showed that the population was declining due to viruses, among other things.
