President of the United States Joe Biden son Hunter Biden plans to plead guilty to tax fraud, Hunter Biden’s lawyer says news channel NBC News and according to the news agency AP.

Hunter Biden appeared in court in Los Angeles on Thursday. The guilty plea would be part of a deal that would allow Hunter Biden to avoid a public trial. It is not yet known whether the trial judge will approve the deal.

According to the prosecutor, he avoided tax payments while working for foreign companies. Hunter Biden made millions of dollars with his business and, according to the prosecutor, failed to pay taxes worth around 1.3 million euros.

Hunter Biden was already convicted in June in Delaware, because he had lied to the federal government about the gun he owned. He may even face a prison sentence for this crime.

Republicans and the presidential candidate Donald Trump have also claimed that President Biden was involved in his son’s crimes. Republicans in the House of Representatives have prepared a letter of impeachment against Biden, but have not taken the matter forward so far.

According to the White House, the accusations against President Biden are unfounded.
