Almost twice as many families in Sudan go hungry since fighting between rival generals began in the country six months ago.

Thousands of people have been killed and millions have been forced to leave their homes. The need for humanitarian aid is very great.

“700,000 children suffer from severe acute malnutrition and 100,000 children need life-saving treatment for acute malnutrition with medical complications,” WHO and Unicef write in a joint statement.
