Hungary’s social democratic opposition requests an extraordinary meeting to vote on Sweden’s NATO membership, states SVT News referring to Hungarian 24.
“Only two members have not yet ratified Sweden’s NATO application: Turkey – and to our horror – Hungary,” writes the social democratic MSZP in a press release.
The opposition proposed a similar vote in October, but it was rejected by parliament’s preparatory committee.
