On Steam you can currently get the popular survival game Starbound for a really small price and go in search of resources, adventures and monsters as an intergalactic captain.
What game is Starbound? In Starbound you are stranded somewhere in space with your damaged spaceship. You collect materials for repair, explore the universe and create your own story.
The game was released in July 2016 and has since had around 89,000 players (via SteamDB).
In a quote on Steam, Gronkh, one of the biggest German streamers and YouTubers, says: “Starbound is a mixture of Minecraft, of Terraria, of… ah… a mixture of everything, just.”
You can currently get it for less than €6, the offer is valid until June 5th. Starbound is also included in the Xbox Game Pass.

What can you do in Starbound? In the 2D adventure you can settle down and farm your land, travel from planet to planet, collect treasures or plunge into dangerous dungeons.
There is much to discover on your journey. From ancient temples to modern metropolises, trees with eyes and interesting animals. But you can also be creative when it comes to building, whether it’s a hut in the forest, a medieval castle or a space station.
Is there a multiplayer mode? You can play against each other or cooperatively on private or public servers. You design the universe according to your ideas and adapt it to your play style. Items, planet types, dungeons and quests can be added.
The game universe is the same as that where the player hosting the server plays in single player mode. All connected players keep their character inventories and starships.

You take on the role of an intergalactic bounty hunter who undertakes assignments to track down wanted criminal gangs and ensure law and order in the universe.
There are over 82,000 reviews on Steam – 91% of which are positive. Players particularly praise the exploration options in Starbound and the fact that you are never “alone” as you can play with other players and NPCs can also become companions.
Starbound has had a relatively consistent player base for seven years. Other games, on the other hand, are seeing drastically falling numbers, so the servers are now being shut down:
