Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Copenhagen Mayor Sophie Hæstorp Andersen and parts of the Danish royal family were present.
– Tonight we are gathered to remember the dead. Three innocent lives that ended far, far too soon, Frederiksen said during the memorial service.

The Prime Minister also drew attention to the relatives of the victims in his speech.
– We also send warm thoughts and compassion to you who are relatives, who had to wait in uncertainty for signs of life. And especially to you who have lost one of your loved ones. No words, no action can compensate for your loss, she said.
A 17-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and a 47-year-old Russian man living in Denmark were killed. A total of 30 people were injured, many of them in connection with fleeing the site. A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the shooting.
