A man is sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempted murder after shooting another man in the neck and back from close range outside the Mobilia shopping center in Malmö last fall.
The man who was shot had been tricked to the scene and got there in the belief that someone wanted to buy drugs from him, writes Sydsvenskan. The motive for the shooting is said to have been revenge for a woman being abused.
The woman is sentenced to five years and two months in prison for aiding and abetting attempted murder and several other crimes. According to the newspaper, the two convicts are part of the same criminal network.
After Aftonbladet’s review of Anna Kinberg Batra, which led to her being fired as governor of Stockholm, she has now submitted her pass card to the County Administrative Board.
She writes that on her Instagram on Wednesday.
The former M leader is married to comedian David Batra and also writes that the family will now move.
“In the near future, I will work as director general in the government office, move with the family and refrain from public comments in general.”

The mayor of the Lebanese city of Nabatieh, in the southwestern parts of the country, is said to have been killed in an Israeli attack on two municipal buildings. In the village of Qana, many have been killed in another attack.
During Wednesday, Israel once again bombed Beirut’s southern suburbs, where a “strategic weapons depot” belonging to Hezbollah was hit according to the Israeli military.
Airstrikes on two municipal buildings in Nabatieh have killed five people – including the city’s mayor, Lebanon’s health ministry said in a statement, according to AFP.
Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemns that municipal buildings were attacked, according to him intentionally, AP writes.
In the morning, a moped collided with a deer in Torsås.
The moped rider has been taken to hospital, but his injuries are unclear.
A large number of people have died since a tanker exploded in northern Nigeria. The accident is said to have occurred when the driver lost control of the tanker and crashed.

19 people have been arrested in a major crackdown on suspected gang crime in southern Norway, reports NRK.
Norwegian media write that it is a coordinated crackdown that was carried out on Tuesday.
– 19 people are suspected of having connections to a criminal network. They are suspected of serious drug offences, says prosecutor Terje Skaar to NRK.
The police do not rule out that more people may be arrested. The strike is described as one of the largest ever made in southern Norway.
In the crackdown, large quantities of narcotics, cash and weapons were seized, among other things.
All those arrested are men over the age of 18.
Amendment: The Norwegian police have now backed away from the information that the gang in question has connections to Sweden.

Over 10,000 customers at the company’s Medley swimming and gym facilities in Finspång and Ljungsbro have had their personal data published on the darknet after a hacker attack. In over 2,000 cases, bank account numbers have also been leaked, P4 Östergötland and P4 Värmland report.
The data comes from Medley’s former facility in Finspång and the current one in Ljungsbro. It is about names, personal data and in some cases bank account numbers from the business since almost 20 years ago.
