Humble is running a massive Steam sale that’s pretty much taking half my library down

The sales on Steam are notorious for strong offers that reach for the wallet. But currently a sale with Steam games is running on Humble, which also invites you to browse.

I am a trained console gamer, only been on Steam for 9 years and only own 126 games on the PC platform. My pile of shame is lower than my stack of unopened letters.

And even if there are still three bills waiting in the pile: I’m happy to grab a good game sale. However, the current sale is more about you.

When I stumbled upon the Humble sale today, I was immediately greeted by so many great games from my library that I encourage you to take a look at the list for yourself:

Below I show you a list of games that I can wholeheartedly recommend. But I would like to start here with a PlayStation trailer of my highlight – Rimworld for €26.39 (20%):

30 euros for 2,000 hours of play on Steam – One of the best building games comes to PS4 & PS5

I don’t even need to scroll and the first game in the Popular category catches my eye. It’s about Satisfactory, a management game in which you build a huge, automated factory. The Steam hit is reduced by 40% and is available for €17.99.

After that, Valheim pops up, a survival adventure that experienced a lot of hype at the beginning of 2021 and is still being developed. Valheim is available for €13.99, a 30% discount.

Planet Zoo is currently running a “rare sale” for fans of construction simulations. You can get the game for €8.99 until May 11th at 7 p.m., which is 80% cheaper.

I could go on forever, but I’d rather list a few more worthwhile titles:

  • Deep Rock Galactic / €16.91 / -67%
  • Loot shooter with gnomes, missions and destructible environment
  • Stardew Valley / €11.19 / -20%
  • Pixel farm sim with lots of content and a lovely neighborhood
  • V Rising / €15.99 / -20%
  • Faster Than Light / €2.49 / – 75%
  • Rogue-lite for in between, you expand and control a spaceship
  • Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr / €15.99 / -80%
  • Before this gets out of hand, take a look at the sometimes generous discounts via humblestore.com. While leafing through it, I discovered that there are currently no Steam keys available for some games, but some will be delivered later.

By the way, you can save even more if you are a member of “Humble Choice”. This is a subscription that allows you to choose games each month.

But be careful: It is precisely this subscription that is to blame for the fact that so many players on Steam have already accumulated a pile of shame that the previously unplanned offspring could not even remove. You were warned and I’ll open the accounts.
