The probe by the force’s human trafficking unit began last month when an adult female reported she was trafficked between 2015 and 2018, London police said Tuesday.
The London man is charged with 12 offences, including advertising another person’s sexual services, trafficking a person under the age of 18, possessing child pornography, sexual exploitation of a young person, sexually assaulting a person under the age of 16 and assault with a weapon .
The man remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court March 28.
