Human Rights Board rules: Jewish couple insufficiently protected by housing association

Human Rights Board rules Jewish couple insufficiently protected by housing

A Jewish couple from Rhenen who were terrorized by the neighborhood for years are not sufficiently protected by the Rhenam Wonen housing association. According to the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights, Rhenam responded too passively to the couple’s complaints about harassment and (physical) threats. According to the Board, the housing association has “failed in its duty as a landlord to ensure a discrimination-free living environment”.
