Police are investigating after human remains were found in the Grand River in Dunnville.
Haldimand County OPP, fire and emergency services responded to the location at about 1:22 on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said there is no threat to public safety.
A post mortem will be conducted to determine cause of death, police said in a media release.
The Haldimand OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, is continuing to investigate.
