Hugh Jackman injured X-Men stuntwoman and she was happy about it
According to Cinema Blend, the actor was recently a guest on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? Here he recalled the filming of X-Men: The Movie, where real metal claws were used for Wolverine’s appearances. This was always painful for Jackman himself:
I don’t know what we thought – they were actually metal and they were actually sharp… I had to get used to having another nine inches behind my hand when I was fighting. So I had to adapt. So I practiced, practiced and did it. I stabbed myself in the thighs. I had scars; I still have scars on my thighs.

Even more unfortunate was a scene in which Wolverine stabs Mystique (Rebecca Romijn) in the arm. The stunt double for the sequence was actually injured – and was happy about it:
I literally stabbed somebody for the first time in my life. And she… the blood was gushing out. It started coming, and all of a sudden she says, ‘I got stabbed by Wolverine!’ Blue and red was pouring down her arm because she’s a stuntwoman and she’s a lot tougher than me. For them it was a badge of honor.
Jackman was deeply shocked at the time, but the stuntwoman involved seems to have remembered the accident as one of the happier days of her life.
