Christopher Nolan is one of the few directors whose name alone draws film fans to the cinemas. He has achieved this status with original blockbusters The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar and most recently Tenet more than deserved. In a year, Nolan’s next project will hit theaters: Oppenheimer.
We’ll reveal what the film is about in a moment, but you might be able to guess from the combination of the title and the first, just-released, poster. The trailer will appear in the next few days.

What is Nolan’s Oppenheimer about and what does the poster mean?
Concrete information is still missing. But the material is very interesting and it suits Nolan. Oppenheimer is currently known as Mixture of war film and biopic circumscribed. The plot focuses on the scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and the Creation of the first atomic bomb. On the poster, we see the main character, played by Cillian Murphy, presumably in front of a bulging mushroom cloud.
When will Oppenheimer be in cinemas?
Oppenheimer will be released in German cinemas on July 21, 2023. So exactly in a year and on the now classic Nolan date in midsummer. What’s different this time: Oppenheimer is the first film in ages that Nolan didn’t work with Studio Warner.
