Emission-free city center from 2028
From 1 January 2025, the same area as the existing environmental zone in the city will be a zero-emission zone. New vans entering this area must be emission-free. The vans may not emit polluting gases such as CO2 into the air.
From 2028, all vans entering the city must be emission-free. From 2030, this will also apply to trucks.
With these measures, the municipality aims to reduce particulate matter and CO2 emissions in the city centre and improve air quality.
