Huawei P50 The series is more than a year old – the phones launched in August 2021 – but the company hasn’t given up on a new P-series flagship. According to new leaks Huawei P60 and P60 Prowill be released in March this year and will come with improved cameras, better screens and larger batteries.

The Huawei P60 Pro is claimed to have a 6.6” 120Hz OLED display, with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels compared to 1,228 x 2,700 pixels on the P50 Pro. It will use a high frequency PWM dimming (1,920Hz) panel. There will be a punch-hole 32MP selfie camera located at the middle top of the panel.

The rear camera will have a 50MP main sensor (a new Sony IMX888), while the ultra-wide camera will be upgraded to a 50MP sensor (probably from 13MP to IMX858). The telephoto camera can use the same 64 MP sensor (OmniVision OV64B).

The regular Huawei P60 will have a different setup. We can think of the main camera as a 52MP IMX789 with a 1/1.35” sensor with 1.12µm pixels. We expect a triple camera setup with a 50MP ultra-wide (IMX858) and a 16MP tele camera.

The cameras on the two phones will be based on the in-house XMAGE imaging system. The variable aperture we saw on the P50 Pro will appear on both phones, according to rumors.

Same info, P60 Pro’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 It claims to be powered by a 4G version of the chipset and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wired charging. For comparison, P50 ProIt featured Snapdragon 888 4G and a 4,360mAh battery with 66W/50W charging.

Like the Kunlun toughened glass for the screen, the Huawei P50 series Mate 50 It is expected to adopt some features from the series. The phones will also be screened with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. We can also expect them to support satellite communications, but this will use the BeiDou constellation and may have limited support outside of China (as in the Mate 50 phones).

Huawei hasn’t set an official date yet, or even confirmed the future of the P60 series, but if the March target is correct, we should start to see official information soon. Finally, as can be understood from the initial letter of the “P” series PhotographConsidering that it represents , we will not be surprised if it comes with the best camera setup.
