Huawei, Enerjisa and Zebra Elektronik are establishing high-speed charging stations for electric cars in Turkey. At the heart of these stations is the 720 kW liquid-cooled Huawei FusionCharge.
The following was stated about the first step based in Istanbul Ataşehir: “Enerjisa joined forces with Huawei and Zebra Elektronik. The new generation charging stations, which serve as a platform for all electric vehicles and operators, will first extend to the Marmara and Aegean Region, then to all of Turkey and then abroad. The roof of the Charging Hub, which offers the fastest charging opportunity in the industry with Huawei technology and brings together chargers from different brands on a single platform, will consist entirely of solar panels and will be a model that produces its own energy. Enerjisa Üretim will also provide green energy certificates from the electricity produced in renewable energy plants for the Charging Hub. The pilot study started in Ataşehir, Istanbul., First of all, it is planned to expand in the regions and cities where Enerjisa Üretim’s wind power plant investments are located. The newly established Charging Hubs will also offer customers areas where they can socialize, such as markets, cafes and recreation areas. The new generation stations will serve with a range target of 1 kilometer in 1 second. Huawei, the technology partner of the project, will provide ultra-fast charging with the 720 kW FusionCharge liquid-cooled high-speed power unit it developed.” Making a statement about the process Huawei Türkiye Digital Energy Business Group General Manager Gavin Zhao Expressing his satisfaction with the development of e-mobility in Turkey, he said:

“Digital, power-oriented R&D and innovation strategies are extremely valuable within the scope of sustainable development and energy policies, which are among the most important goals determined by Turkey for the next century. As Huawei Turkey, we aim to accelerate the transition to digital energy transformation with the innovative and integrated energy solutions we develop. Huawei and Zebra Elektronik will operate within Enerjisa Üretim with their technology infrastructure, We are excited to announce Turkey’s first Charging Hub. We believe that this project will be a guiding force in energy transformation.”
Additionally, the following was shared for the process:: “The new generation charging stations, which serve as a platform for all electric vehicles and operators, will first extend to the Marmara and Aegean Region, then to all of Turkey and from there to abroad. “The roof of the Charging Hub, which offers the fastest charging opportunity in the industry with Huawei technology and brings together chargers from different brands on a single platform, will consist entirely of solar panels and will be a model that produces its own energy.”
Huawei announced its liquid-cooled supercharging station, called FusionCharge, last year as follows: “FusionCharge liquid-cooled high-speed charging makes it possible to create a new charging infrastructure, increasing the number of charging sessions served. A high power output of 720 kW can be produced with the liquid-cooled power unit.
Thanks to the cabin, power pool and power sharing matrix, high-speed charging takes place. Separating the AC/DC and DC/DC modules makes the power units more accessible for DC ESS connection and enables greater utilization of their power capabilities. The unit can support up to 12 outputs and up to 600 kW of output power can be handled with a single connector.
The architecture, developed as fully liquid-cooled with DC bus, offers superior quality, more flexibility and an improved charging experience compared to the traditional architecture. FusionCharge liquid-cooled high-speed charging unit creates a high-speed charging experience with its 500 ampere power. “The product, which has 95.5% efficiency and an extremely low failure rate, also eliminates the noise barrier by operating below 60dB thanks to its completely liquid-cooled technology.”
