Mikko Manner will continue as HPK’s head coach for the next two seasons.
Hämeenlinna Ball Club announced on Friday that Mikko Manner will continue as HPK’s head coach for the next two seasons.
Manner will coach HPK in the 2025–2026 season and, while coaching in the League, also in the 2026–2027 season. The second year of the contract therefore includes an option that Manner can use when moving to a place other than Liiga.
Coach Olli Hällfors also signed a two-year extension contract with HPK. The second year of Hällfors’ contract is also subject to an option, which Hällfors can use if he were to move to coaching somewhere other than the League.
HPK’s other coaches will continue in their current roles with valid contracts. Coach Ari-Pekka Selinigoalkeeper coach Aleksis Virtanen and a physical trainer Markus Jokinen the contracts are valid until spring 2026.
