Because the fact that the character’s being Muslim was emphasized too much, and the idea whether it could be handled correctly or not caused serious concerns. That is, until the first episode of the series aired today…
Ms Marvel series, far beyond my expectation
I don’t want to go into too much detail and give spoilers about the production, but I have to say right away that it was simply magnificent. It was one of the funniest shows I’ve seen in a long time.
The series, starring Iman Vellani (Ms Marvel), Matt Lintz (Bruno Carrelli), Yasmeen Fletcher (Nakia), is broadcast on Disney+. The production, which has the first season of six episodes, will be broadcast on Wednesdays from June 6th.
Female Peter Parker
Many Spider-Man fans will also enjoy Ms Marvel. As I mentioned in the title, if you want to think like the female version of Peter Parker, I certainly wouldn’t mind you. Apart from the common features of both characters known as funny lines, adolescent attitudes and family problems, there are many more intersections. You will realize these as you watch the series.
The Ms Marvel comic, first published in 2013, soon became as popular as the other well-established heroes of the MCU. Although the Ms Marvel character was first used by Carol Denvers, whom we now know as Captain Marvel, she appeared in other MCU characters over time.

Who is Kamala Khan?
Kamala Khan or Miss Marvel is a Muslim Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey. She has a latent Inhuman ancestry activated by the She terrigen Grenade (wristband). When exposed to Terrigen Mist, she becomes capable of flexing her body in almost any way imaginable.
Our hero was born in Jersey City as the daughter of Yusuf Khan and Muneeba Khan. His family and elder brother Aamir Khan moved to the United States from Karachi, Pakistan. In kindergarten, Kamala met Nakia Bahadir, who remains her best friend. Like Kamala, Nakia was a Muslim immigrant.
Later, while Kamala was in her sophomore year, the Khan family met one of their new classmates, Bruno Carrelli. Teacher Ms. Bartholomew told the Khans that Bruno’s mother had recently lost custody of Bruno and his younger brother Vick. The Carrelli brothers were sent to live with their grandparents, who were immigrants from Italy, and their families were struggling to make ends meet.
They could not pay for Bruno’s activities, and young Bruno had become a kind of pariah. The khans offered to pay for the boy and sent their daughters to play with him. Although reluctant at first, Kamala and Bruno soon form a close bond over their shared history from immigrant families and their love for the animated TV series Tween Mutant Samurai Turtles.
In addition to his friendship with Kamala, Nakia and Bruno, he has found an outlet in his love of video games, social media, fan fiction and, above all, superheroes.
What interval does Miss Marvel take place in the MCU Timeline?
Ms Marvel follows 16-year-old Khan as he navigates life through high school as he dreams of the possibility of becoming a superhero. The character’s process, all other Marvel Phase 4 Like its movies and shows, it takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Summary of the first episode

While Kamala Khan knows all the heroes, Carol Denvers (Captain America) is her biggest dream to achieve. For this reason, her participation in an event to be held by running away from home and wearing a Captain Marvel costume will change her whole life.
The series, which started with a very satisfying visual narration and story, has the capacity to rank first among many recently published Marvel series with its colorful scenes and flowing weave. I can also say with peace of mind that the techniques used in the shooting are equivalent to the quality we see in Marvel’s movies.
Although Iman Vellani, who was chosen for the lead role, did a very good acting, the fact that Vellani is a thin woman in the comics and Vellani is a fishy woman made me a little strange at first. However, you get used to the character very quickly.
Ms Marvel has a similar feel to Phase 3 productions, which we are not used to seeing especially in Marvel Phase 4 productions. Definitely a movie worth watching.
