With the release of iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and tvOS 16.2 (all currently in beta), Apple introduced a new Karaoke experience for “Apple Music” subscribers. Apple Music Singmakes available.
Available on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV 4K (2022), “Apple Music” Sing works with the real-time lyrics feature of “Apple Music” and gives you control over a song’s vocal levels. This means you can sing along with original artist vocals or mute the vocals and take the lead.
While a song has a background vocal, vocal sequences that are sung at the same time can move independently of the main vocals, making it easier for you to follow. And if there is a duet or more singers, multiple vocals are displayed on opposite sides of the screen to make it easier for them to sing along.
Apple hasn’t specified exactly which songs will receive the “Apple Music” Sing feature, only saying it will be released with support for “tens of millions of songs.”
