Final Fantasy XIV Update 6.3 Trailer

24-man raid Euphrosyne

New gear from the Euphrosyne raid

What awaits me here? Euphrosyne is the second part of the Myths of Eorzea quest line. It continues the story of the quests and brings a new 24-man raid in which you have to fight against known gods. This time you can expect goddesses like Halone or Nophica, which the fans are particularly excited about. As a reward there are new equipment, playing cards, music rolls and upgrade materials for the current “Stone Armor”.

  • Name of the starting quest: Return to the phantom realm
  • Location: Mor Dhona (X:23.9 Y:9.1)
  • NPC: Derik
  • Precondition: The pre-quest “Reinforcements for the Scholars” must be completed.
  • continuation of the story

It’s back to Garlemald in Update 6.3.

What awaits me here? As always, the main story of FFXIV continues in the new update with more quests. At the center of the patches story is the mysterious woman Zero. From the screenshots so far, you can see that the path leads fans to Garlemald this time. There will be a reunion with Jullus and the twins Alphinaud and Alisaie.

  • Name of the starting quest: reputation out of nowhere
  • Location: Radz-at-Han (X:4.4 Y:9.8)
  • NPC: Varshahn
  • Precondition: The current final quest of the main story “Buried Memory” must be completed.
  • Danger: As usual, patch 6.3 also brings a new test. However, it is still secret and will be unlocked automatically as you progress through the main story. So you don’t have to worry about missing them.

    New dungeon: Lapis Manalis

One of the bosses from the Lapis Manalis dungeon

What awaits me here? The new dungeon is located in a far corner of the cold mountains of Garlemald. There was a village there a long time ago in which people lived who had made deals with the no-sent. To get to the bottom of the story, you have to fight your way through snowy mountain passes and caves.

  • Name of the starting quest: Still unknown
  • Location: Still unknown
  • NPC: Still unknown
  • Precondition: Since the dungeon is part of the main story of the update, it can be assumed that it will be unlocked through the corresponding quests.
  • Tatarus Prosperity Manufactory

What awaits me here? Tataru’s quest for world domination…er, their trading empire continues. The latest quests take you to Kugane in the Far East to meet Hancock. He probably wants to negotiate a deal with Tataru from which both sides should benefit. What the player character has to do with all of this, however, is a mystery.

  • Name of the starting quest: Dizziness in the Ruby Sea
  • Location: Old Sharlayan (X:11.8 Y:9.8)
  • NPC: Mehdjina
  • Precondition: The pre-quest “Prosperity that connects the world!” must be completed. In addition, the 4 Beast Saints quest “A Brave Sacrifice” must also be completed.
  • Deliveries on demand: Andes

What awaits me here? In the case of wish deliveries, you must actively support certain NPCs with your skills as a craftsman and collector. In patch 6.15 it was a “Mami”, in the upcoming 6.3 update it will be a green bunch of leaves called Andes. He used to be a shepherd looking after his flock, but was transformed by the mean pixies.

  • Name of the starting quest: Something rumbles in the grass
  • Location: Crystalium (X:9.3 Y:11.3)
  • NPC: Staring Sheep
  • Precondition: Must have completed the final quest of the Endwalker main story and the side quest Happy Collectibles.
  • Where’s the rest?

Patch 6.3 will offer more content, but you have to keep in mind that not all of it will be live next week. Some of this will come in patches 6.31 and 6.35 over the coming weeks and months. This includes:

  • Omega (fatal) – Released with patch 6.31 on January 24th
  • Deep Vault Eureka Orthos – Released with patch 6.35
  • Hildibrand’s Return – Released with Patch 6.35
  • Weapon Improvements: Manderville Weapons – Released with Patch 6.35
  • Tool Improvement: Seagull Tools – Released with Patch 6.35
  • Loporrit Orders – Released with Patch 6.35
  • You can find all content in the preliminary patch notes for 6.3, but they are still incomplete and will probably be added in the next few days. This article will then be updated accordingly with new information.
