Hogwarts Legacy, the long-awaited open-world in the Harry Potter universe promises to immerse players in an adventure as beautiful as it is ambitious, taking everything which has made the genre successful in recent years and adapting it to the fabulous and immensely popular Wizarding World. It is therefore on February 10 that PC, PS5 and Xbox Series players will be able to discover Hogwarts Legacy. A release awaited by millions of fans who will also have the opportunity to play the game from February 7 in early access. To do this, you will need to pre-order the edition Deluxe or editing collector of the game, which both offer 72 hours of early access to the game. This offer obviously only concerns next-gen players for the moment. As a reminder, you will find the Deluxe edition of Hogwarts Legacy for 84.99 € on the Playstation Store for PS5 players, for €84.99 on Xbox Series on Amazonand for €69.99 on Steam.
It will not have escaped you that Hogwarts Legacy has not one, nor two, but three different release dates. The game will first appear on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, before arriving on PS4 and Xbox One in early April and Nintendo Switch in late July. On all the platforms mentioned, there is a Deluxe version and a Collector’s version of the game which both promise early access to the game upon release. However, if the release of the game on PS4 and Xbox One is in doubt, which implies that the existence of early access to the game on these platforms is possible, the release of Hogwarts Legacy on Switch is extremely doubtful. In any case, Warner Games and Avalanche Software will have to find ways to adapt the ambition of their RPG to the capabilities of the small hybrid console.
