In CoD Warzone Mobile you play the battle royale shooter from Activision, but this time on your cell phone or tablet. Although the controls are acceptable, many fans prefer to play with the controller. We’ll show you how it works.
CoD Warzone Mobile launched on March 21, 2024 and lets you compete against up to 120 players on the maps “Verdanks” and “Rebirth Island”. Despite the touchscreen of mobile devices, fans prefer to compete against their enemies with a controller and the good thing is, such an option is possible.

How do I play in CoD: Warzone Mobile with a controller?
That’s how it’s done: To play CoD Warzone Mobile with a controller, you first need a compatible controller that you can link to your cell phone or tablet. The Bluetooth of your device takes care of the connection. The following console controllers can be used for these purposes:
To link the PlayStation controller to your cell phone, you have to hold down the PlayStation and Share buttons at the same time. So your controller goes into “search mode” and is then displayed on your cell phone.
On the Xbox, you instead have to hold down the pairing button, the side button with the three arrows, for three seconds until your controller appears in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Now all you have to do is connect your cell phone or tablet to the controller and you can start playing straight away with your controller as if you were playing on the console.
What do I have to consider? The setting is not permanent and can be changed at any time on the touchscreen if the controller bothers you while gaming. The good thing here is that your device recognizes the controller immediately. So you don’t have to select this separately in the settings.
Nevertheless, you should adjust some details such as the fire mode in the settings before you start a round. Otherwise you’ll have a rude awakening and won’t be able to control your soldier the way you want.
