How to disassemble a garden pallet

The first step in making a designer pallet garden furniture is to dismantle the boards. An operation that requires attention to avoid damaging the surface of the wood, or even breaking it a board.

  • Sand the boards on each side using a vibrating sander. If the wood is very dirty, successively use a coarse grit (40 or 60), medium grit (80) sandpaper and, depending on the degree of finish, a 100, 120 or 150 grit.
