A major event is once again preparing in Paldea with the return of the teracrystallized raids! We explain how to capture Charizard during this event.

The Dragon-type Pokémon made a surprise appearance in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple, with the arrival of special seven-star raids in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple. These raids, available everywhere in Paldéa for a limited time, are challenges that you will have to overcome alone, or with friends. In this guide, we will guide you through the different steps to take in order to be able to try to capture Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple, to give you every chance of adding one of the most mythical Pokémon of the license to your collection.
The event that allows you to capture Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Teracrystallized Raids has a limited time. It will be available this week from December 16 at 01:00 a.m. to December 18 at 00:59 a.m.. You should also know that this is the second and last part of these special raids, before a possible return in 2023. You will also have to meet certain prerequisites before embarking on this fairly complex adventure, conditions that we detail for you just below.
Charizard, Charmander and Reptincel are among the most popular Pokémon of the license, members of a first generation adored by all fans, young and old. This is why December 16, 17 and 18 are a very special occasion for fans of the license, who will have the opportunity to add these three pillars of the Pokémon universe to their collection in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple. But before embarking on these seven-star teracrystallized raids, you will need to have completed the game’s main adventure and won the Paldea Academy tournament. We also advise you to have reached level 100, and to have formed a team strong enough to defeat Charizard (Azumarill or Nymphali for example)
To find the seven-star teracrystal raids, go to your map and look for a Dragon-type teracrystallization icon there. They are quite easy to notice, being purple and shiny. We advise you to surround yourself with a team of solid trainers, also accompanied by Pokémon like Azumarill or Nymphali. Once Charizard is defeated, you can try to capture it with a Hyperball. Be careful, you can capture Charizard only once during the event, but you can face it as many times as you want.
The first Pokémon in countless generations of players, Charmander can be obtained in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple. The cute little Fire-type Pokémon can be obtained simply by breeding your Superpowered Charizard. He will give you an egg which will contain your little Charmander.
