We requested information from all seven municipalities in Västernorrland and the question we asked was: how much does a school lunch cost on average per portion?
The cost includes only the cost of food, nothing else.

The lowest food cost is in Sollefteå and the highest in Härnösand municipality.
The national average?
At the same time, there are major challenges ahead, when food costs increase. We therefore asked how big the corresponding money for 2024 will be and here are the answers: (insert picture, graphic)
Three municipalities have so far received notice of an increased budget next year. In Sollefteå it will be unchanged, the other three have not made a decision yet.
