Finally, once the nanny has been found, all that remains is to establish a contract which will make it possible in particular to define the salary conditions taking into account daily or mileage allowances, paid holidays, transport costs, meals… Before determining the price of your nanny, start by asking your friends who also hire a nanny at home. Also be aware that daycare prices differ from region to region. You must then define the salary according to these criteria in order to be consistent with the hourly wage that is practiced near you.

Childcare and aid from the Caf

On the budget side, you should know that parents who hire a nanny benefit from certain aid from the Caf and one tax deduction up to 50%. However, remember that these costs must be advanced since the tax return is not done until the following year. Finally, parents of children under 6 who work and who have their child looked after by a nanny are entitled to Guard Mode Complement (CMG). The monthly amount paid by the Caf is then calculated according to your income, the number of dependent children and their age, Info on the site www.service-public.fr

Child care and tax credit

However, if the government is going to implement a reform in January 2022 to make the tax credit instantaneous for all personal services (household, home help for dependent people, gardening, etc.), childcare children is the only activity not included! With the exception of parents, individual employers will no longer have to wait a year to benefit from the reimbursement of their tax credit : they will only pay 50% of the cost of the service, the State taking care of paying the other half directly to the employee.
